La primitiva iglesia se erigi\u00f3 en la segunda mitad del S. XV y estaba constituida por una nave g\u00f3tica principal con dos laterales y cubierta con teso de artesonado mud\u00e9jar.<\/p>\n<p>Este primitivo templo se asent\u00f3 sobre una antigua mezquita musulmana.
